Welcome
Welcome to heart of the Wimmera! The Creekside Hotel, Warracknabeal is an historic pub located on the banks of the Yarriambiack Creek, in the famous Wimmera Mallee region of Victoria. The Creekside Hotel is situated along the Silo Art Trail, the perfect pitstop for visitors on the road between the silos of Brim and Sheep Hills.
Built in 1870 and destroyed by fire that very same year, the formerly named Commercial Hotel has been in continuous operation ever since.
Summertime brings lazy long afternoons sipping cocktails in our marquee overlooking the beautiful Yarriambiack Creek, or craft beer sessions in the Side Bar. Winter is the time to huddle up near the fire and enjoy our pub classics, with a smooth glass of red or a hot toddy.
Like any good local, we are a pub for all occasions and we love to play host to celebrations, big and small. We can cater for all group sizes and have a range of event spaces to choose from.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Creekside soon!
The Hotel
After fire destroyed the newly built hotel in 1870, it was rebuilt as a single story brick building soon after. A second story was added in 1891. The Gebert family renovated the pub in 2011, retaining the original character of the historic facade, while creating contemporary light filled internal spaces that showcase the uninterrupted views of the Yarriambiack Creek.

Silo Art Trail
The Creekside is a popular destination for visitors to the Silo Art Trail, the renowned Victorian cultural tourist attraction. As the only pub with water views in the district, Creekside is the most picturesque spot for a leisurely lunch or well earned drink after a day of silo hunting.
